Welcome to Swampy Dog Social + Bar, a unique dog-friendly social space in the heart of Travelers Rest, SC. We created this special place where dogs and their humans can come together to play, socialize, and create lasting memories.
Our fully fenced turf fields provide a safe environment for off-leash play, while our outdoor cabana bar offers refreshing drinks and snacks for the humans. Whether you're looking for a place to let your pup run free, meet other dog lovers, or simply relax with a cold beverage, Swampy Dog is your destination.

Do I need a membership?
A membership is required for access to our off-leash field. However, we also have two leashed fields that don't require membership. We offer day passes ($10/day) as well as monthly and yearly membership options. Members enjoy exclusive benefits including access to member-only events and discounts on private events and training services.
Is my dog required to be vaccinated?
Yes, if you want to become a member and use the off-leash field, all dogs must be up-to-date on vaccinations including rabies, distemper, and bordetella. We require proof of vaccination for the safety of all our furry guests.
Can I bring my puppy?
Yes, in the on leash area! Dogs must be at least 1 year old to enter the off leash field.
Can my kid come in the off leash area?
No, everyone must be 21+ to enter the off leash field.
Can I host a private event?
Absolutely! We offer private event packages starting at $150/hour per field (outside operating hours) or $250/hour (during operating hours). Perfect for birthday parties, meetups, and special celebrations. Contact us for more details.
Off Leash Rules & Regulations
Before entering, please follow these rules to ensure a safe & enjoyable space for you and your dog(s)
Day Pass or Membership required to enter. Check-in is mandatory.
Confirm check in status with bartender after entry. Guests have to register upon arrival.
No Toys. No Smoking. No Glassware.
21+ only. No kids/strollers allowed in unleashed area.
Vaccinations are required. Female dogs must be spayed. Dogs must be at least 1 year old to enter.
You must be in control of your dog at all times — on and off leash. Dogs are not to be left unattended in the off leash area. You must clean up after your pet.
Friendly & non aggressive dogs ONLY
Excessive barking, bully behavior, or dominating is not permitted
Maximum of 2 dogs per person
Please do not share food with dogs (Some dogs have food sensitivities. Ask before offering treats)
Spray bottles are available for use. We reserve the right to remove any dogs or humans from the yard at any time for any reason.
